Stepping Stones for Women changes lives by creating a safe, nurturing environment where single mothers and their children learn the necessary skills to become physically, emotionally, intellectually, and spiritually healthy through mandatory classes, training and employment.

Completion of the SSFW Program is significant to society, the mother herself, and most importantly the child because it marks the women's ability to independently provide the economic, emotional, and spiritual support needed for a healthy relationship in which the mother and child can grow to be a positive part of society.
