Donate Financially
Stepping Stones for Women depends entirely on the private donations
of funds, goods, and services from individuals, churches,
businesses and charitable foundations.
Financial dollars, gifts-in-kind donations and volunteer manpower
help provide the resources and fuel that plant hope in the
hearts of single mothers and children.
These mothers and children, who ordinarily would not
venture beyond their immediate spheres of low-income
neighborhoods can, with your help, be permitted to dream of
futures without walls defined by poverty and homelessness.
SSFW is a private, 501-C 3 tax-exempt, non-profit
corporation chartered by the State of California.
All contributions are tax-deductible according to the
fullest extent of the law.

Volunteer Program
There are a
variety of ways and opportunities for individuals and groups to
volunteer at SSFW.
Volunteer your
time and talents in the office, becoming a mentor, providing
transportation or childcare, helping with maintenance at our
facility, help with fundraising events, teach a life skill
class, or any other creative way you would like to give of your
time.
-
Our mentoring program called, “Into the Heart,” matches the
mothers with other mature women to help them overcome
loneliness. This is
accomplished through strong healthy friendship.
The mentor gives spiritual support and encouragement
to the mother to help her achieve a balanced and healthy
lifestyle for her and her children.
All volunteers are provided an orientation to
help their success at SSFW.
Contact us to sign up as a volunteer (626/974-1162 or
staff@ssfw.org). |
